hpguitarcraft asked: no. no. ok. you can not like a trope a film plays into but to deny what a fucking GREAT movie The Thing is is just idiotic. it's a masterpiece. the pacing is excellent, the acting is pitch-perfect, the atmosphere Carpenter creates, the FX, the blocking and framing. i'm sorry if the film treats its creature as an obstacle, but you are missing the entire point if that's your problem....
