I’m also a weak reader, so I will get lost is something is too wordy ahah…ha… hm.
I just have a very short attention span.
It’s why when I check the /fanfic/ boards on the chan I don’t bother reading a story if it doesn’t have me hooked by the first few paragraphs at least.

I’d rather read something a little bare bones than something pompis and overwritten… especially in fanfiction.
I tend to be the same way.
There’s nothing I can’t stand more than an overwritten piece of work that has a lame story in the center of it.
