Mark Hamill was the greatest Joker of all time.

This is not open to debate. I have gotten in physical confrontations over this before and will not hesitate to do so again.

I think of it like this. Cesar Romero was good at playing the Joker. So were Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger. Each was great in his own way.

But Mark Hamill WAS The Joker. Every single time I’ve read a comic featuring that character, I’ve heard his voice in my head. His laugh alone was…perfect. Funny and frightening all at once; everything the Clown Prince is supposed to be. I can think of few other actors who’ve been so intrinsically linked to a character. Even playing through Arkham City right now, it’s easy to take for granted just how perfect he is for the role. He gives me chills, but in the best possible way.

Thank you, Mark Hamill, for bringing one of the most iconic characters in comics to life for over 20 years. You’re ridiculously talented, severely underrated and a fucking Jedi to boot.

It won’t be the same without you. :[
