I’ve enjoyed some of her videos, like she’s good for at lest bringing up the points for OTHER people to then talk about, but she screams of just saying what she’s heard other people say, and not totally getting it herself. Total Tumblr SJW.
Yeah.
I remember one of the first videos I watched of hers was discussing pregnancy tropes in science fiction and when she got around to saying that pregnancy is beautiful and natural of female bodies I was all “HA HA HA HA HA NOPE” and ollied out.

Tumblr has been the first/only place I’ve ever seen dozens of words/phrases used.
Some things I’d seen before through Encyclopedia Dramatica or a select number of LJers but Tumblr has taken so much of it to absurd levels.

i feel like people just tag stuff to cover their asses now on Tumblr. Might as well take a second to tag for blood and gore instead of offended some random and NEVER hearing the end of it.Maybe.
It must be pretty tough for somebody to be so uncomfortable at the sight of blood that cartoon drawings depicting it is enough to make them feel grossed out.
Seems like desensitizing yourself to it would just make your life easier.
Cat, you’re assuming that they can be. Perhaps they’ve seen too much, perhaps it’s become a phobia. There’s many other reasons it could be as well.
I suppose so.
Eh, I don’t know. I can say that one of my own phobias has become less intense from people posting images of it often enough that I don’t freak out as much as I used to.
